lately, we’ve been having all sorts of amazing, sunny weather here in seattle. so much so, that it’s actually making me fall in love with this city just a little more everyday.

of course, as i sit by the window typing this out, i’m met with pale, gray clouds and slightly cooler temperatures. but i have faith those beautiful blue skies and warm, bright sun will be back in no time (that’s what the weather report says anyways!)

in the meantime, i thought i’d treat myself to some gorgeous golden sunshine by sharing this fun shoot we did a couple of weeks back with kavitha and neil. until the wedding later this year, they’re doing the whole long distance things from miami to cleveland and with us based in seattle, we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to make an engagement session happen. fortunately, kavitha’s brother in san francisco had a baby and well, of course that meant they had to come out to see the little one which in turn, gave us a chance to squeeze in a quick session with these two! and we’re so glad we did! we spent an evening strolling around land’s end with them, hearing all about how they met at case western law school and the joys of wedding planning from different cities (an experience we remember all too well!) they are quite possibly the most easy-going and genuinely friendly people and by the end of the session, we were so incredibly happy we had the opportunity to hang out and get to know them just a little better!

kavitha + neil — congratulations again on your engagement! we’re so excited for you guys and can’t wait to see you again in a few more months for the wedding!

happy tuesday everyone!

today, we’re sharing a beautiful engagement session that includes some of our favorite shots. ever.

we met up with ritasha and michael a couple weeks ago on a slightly chilly morning at discovery park. the moment i saw ritasha step out of the car in her gorgeous, ruffly, blush pink gown, i nearly died from all the prettiness! and michael was no less, looking quite dapper in a suit. although it was cold and windy, these two were complete troopers, cozying up just a little closer to each other, as they braved the cooler temperatures. after exploring the beaches and fields, we headed back into the city, with a brief stop in front of a colorful graffiti wall before ending at their apartment for a little styled “post-party” fun. throughout the morning, they both were all smiles and with each click of the camera, their love for each other became just a little more apparent.

ritasha + michael — you guys are seriously such a beautiful couple! we had an awesome time with the two of you and absolutely can’t wait until your wedding later this year!
