I'm assuming and hopefully optimistic that one is leading to the other codes. Also I'm wondering if it's something I might be able to fix. Also, giving the purge evap valve a few good taps seems to make the issue better. I been looking for any kind of answer for fix but forums only answer is either the location of o2 sensor or people start wondering off about different codes and never gets answered. This is the main code, however, any component malfunctioning within this loop that has the potential to cause a lean mixture will also be set in code. P2189 will be Bank 2 at idle.

For the most part the diagnostic procedure is not difficult -- just time consuming, unless it is one of the first items checked. Pull over, retighten it, and take a look at the cap to see if it has any cracks in it. The car is at the dealer and they have no idea whats wrong at the moment and are troubleshooting it. The remainder of components need to be inspected by a service facility that has a Tech 2 scanner and programmer. Logged did you ever figure out what caused this? But from the weird engine reving at iddle, I don't have it anymore. Turned that during the injector installation the injector seat had deformed. Does that O2 mod help your Miata? The strategy to pinpoint the issue is one of moving down a list, beginning with the most likely cause and working down to less commonly seen causes. The miss that you had on cylinder one was caused by two things; the false air leaning out the mixture and a worn plug. If anyone has any advice or help, it would be much appreciated. During the last two starts, the engine management computer has recognized a problem with the fuel mixture at an idle. When mine was running better it idled at 650-750 and didn't shake.
