Ended up swapping batteries on my daily and project car, and for some dumb reason, the radio is now working fine again. Js08016 answered about a year ago That's actually not true. I couldnt drive over 25 mph at that point. I could hardly drive the vehicle. Lucky for me, I already knew about the Service Bulletins N182186880 and N182186881 that depict the issue. And I didn't need an oil change until I had driven over four thousand miles??? I've been mechanic for 20 years now and have learned as long as you do your research before you buy any vehicle that way you know what to look out for and you can try to get whatever problems fix with said vehicle before you purchase or at least get the price adjusted. Multiple time repair shop says 02 sensor, nope, lean gas was to blame, so 8 or 9 codes and 1,500 I have replaced the solenoid and still does it.
I have to remove my wallet from my back pocket when I drive this car. The passenger seat is manually adjusted though. It has 115506 and I love car. I kept my comments to a low roar. Car lose power and a 18 wheeler almost ran into the back of me. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the manufacturer was contacted who advised that the failure might be caused by the security pass lock system.
Its not a maintenance issue its a mechanical issue. The connection is by the right rear door sill under the carpet at the pillar. Yes the reset procedure is to let leave the key on for ten mins then shut it off then try to crank If it does not start you do this up to three times. All of the lights work on the display, but no sound. Dealer attempted to fix by replacing the battery twice, but did not correct the problem.
Original review: March 6, 2017 I leased a brand new 2015 Impala at the end of May 2015. The few postings I have just started to read lets me know that this model has a lot of problems. The contact stated that the vehicle was leaking oil, fuel, and power steering fluid. Box is drivers side end of dash drivers door open or pass side end of dash passenger door open police models have a connection for the speakers passenger floorboard under floor mat to connect the speakers to the police radios. The current mileage was 127,000 and the failure mileage was 115,000. Very dissatisfied Awaiting your answer asap. Had to replace body control module, lock cylinder with passlock sensor before car would start.
I will never purchase another Chevrolet product again. I found this odd since it was a brand new car, but figured it was a fluke. The clicking, grinding noise in the steering. Now I'm hearing a wheel bearing dull grind type sound. The steering wheel is in the way even though it can be moved upwards it's still not enough room.
The contact stated that the vehicle would not start intermittently after driving a short distance. Or anyone have any ideas what could have caused this, and how to fix it? In fact there are hundreds and hundreds of people wondering why this has not been recalled on these cars. I called the general manager and he said an as is sale is what it is. Drives smooth and the design of the car looks great. The switch you have to juggle and the car would not start anymore.
Remove the two bolt screws holding the plastic panel surrounding the instrument display. Randomly, it will just cut out. Doesn't really seem like a reasonable trade off. There are plenty of places to put things in. This time I was angry. I basically asked if he wanted some lemonade from the vehicle I just got. Dec 07, 2008 There is a panel on the passengers side of the car, I pulled the fuse used for OnStar because I dont use it.
Both the dealership and Chevrolet only refer to the warranty being expired and that this is my problem to fix. Just like the key rotation issue, didn't recall it until people died and they got sued, typical! This may not seem like a safety problem, but, when you think about all the places your car could leave you stranded, it's scary. I'm not a big person. Luckily I was in my driveway when it refused to start. Ooooh I know, so you have to take it in for certified repairs. As far as the turn signal clicking noise, the hazard switch is the actual flasher unit for the turn signals, and could be the culprit, but the most likely cause is the turn signal switch itself. I've seen numerous ones in the local paper for sale with only 25,000 to 35,000 miles on them.
